I don't want to say that this past holiday weekend was the last beach weekend of the year, but it was a gorgeous and happy little wink at -- dare I say -- Indian Summer weather and we day-tripped friends and dogs out to Plum Beach Sunday for a little beach hike.
These photos are from an earlier trip out there, but the beauty is so unexpected and
so close to the city that I have to share. I have more unusual finds from a beach hike yesterday at Breezy Point. More to come.
And, hopefully, there will be more insanely gorgeous Octoberian beach days to come, too!
