Yohji Yamamoto + Adidas = 10YRS Y-3 SS13

With soccer phenom David Beckham in the front row and pony-tailed hair and athletic stripes on the runway, Adidas and Yohji Yamamoto celebrated 10 years of collaboration, scoring with a home-run Y-3 collection for Spring/Summer 2013 at the St. John's Center Sunday evening. 

These were spicy girls and guys for sure. A tropical print that was reflected and refracted in the wall of lights and safety orange that cranked up the black and white edge for pants and jackets for him. 

Asymmetric tennis pleated hems, chemise dresses for her and hoodie jackets with camo shorts for him were top offerings. Yohji, in all his elegance of black attire, took his bow at the finale amid the majorly black-clad audience.
