It seems Michael Kors can never fail. His AW2012 collection took an all-American wholesomeness to icon status level...from the luxe lumberjack couple that opened his AW12 runway to the slink of shimmering black, liquid gold and svelte silver Red Carpet looks that capped it...in between he gave as much for the guys as he did for the gals...elegant cowled sweaters...military-esque strappy belted holster-like "vests"...weekend backpacks...supple fabrics that you wanted to reach out and pet. He said/she said striped or plaid blanket jackets/skirts/coats and ponchos were perfect complements...and of course the ever-present onpoint furs -- accoutrements topping tweedy black-n-whites, rich mochas and winter whites.
