They say God is in the details. And for those viewing menswear designers and heritage brands at Capsule and Project this past week, there couldn't have been anything more heavenly than the attention to detail artfully manifested in so many pieces. 

From mixes of disparate fabrics like denim and unwashed wool for new sport coat hybrids to anchors patterned into sport coat sleeves to rattlesnake vertebrae or feathers attached, tie-pin like, on neck wear, attention to detail spoke volumes.

Celebrating a birthday, designers, views and a heightened sense of fashion & style!

Beautiful kee's beautiful birthday bash out in Red Hook. One guest asked me "are you a designer, too?" I wish I could have said yes. What a fabulous group of stunningly creative and gorgeous people. Kee was wearing one of her latest & newest Loup Charmant creations, a floor-sweeping lemon chiffon crinkle cotton column with braided straps and a matching bra top. Her present from her friends Jason & Natasha (his jewelry, cut circularly from a piece of leather with a metal piece cast from an antique French cupboard's key hole; his collection is called Artemas Quibble, I believe, and he also sells at Pachute where Loup Charmant is carried....).

Of course, the new apartment/studio's sunsets and views are nothing short of spectacular. And your should've seen when kee lite her 3 foot tapers on her dining room table!
